Peonies are one of my favorite flowers that grow in my yard.  They require very little maintenance and give you large blooms with an aromatic rose scent. Peonies also, make a wonderful cut flower. My only complaint,  they don't last long enough. They bloom for only a couple of weeks each spring but they do leave behind lush green foliage.

I will be sharing my Pink post to Pink Saturday at How Sweet the Sound:

  1. Anytime we came to your house and your peonies were in bloom I thought they were absolutely beautiful!

  2. I am trying very hard to find one of these gorgeous plants so that I can have these pretty blooms too. Love your pink ones.

  3. I have never seen as many peonies as I have lately on the blog. They are all so pretty. I am going to try to have some next spring. Too hot now to put any out.

  4. Your peonies are beautiful, mine bloomed about a month ago-enjoy:@)

  5. Alas, ours are gone. Yours are awesome. Love them.
Have a lovely PS weekend ~

  6. Happy Pink Saturday "Sweetie"...
A gorgeous share this evening. I love your peony bush. How gorgeous it is, so loaded with blooms. They couldn't take the extreme heat out here in the desert, so I am SO enjoying your share of yours. It is exquisite.

I am Country Wings in Phoenix, your newest follower. I see that you are in Oklahoma. My family lives in Enid. I grew up there, but have been living in Phoenix for about 25+ years now. It is home, but a piece of my heart will always be in Enid with my family. Love meeting new Okies along my way blogging.

Hope you will stop by and say hello. I love meeting new friends. Many country hugs sweetie, Sherry
