Halloween Movies for Kids

If you are wanting to watch a Halloween movie with your kids but, don't want to scar them for life. Here is a list of movies that are entertaining and not extremely scary. Some are even funny, along with being suspenseful. Watch the movie clips and decide which are  suitable for your children and then  pop some popcorn, pour your favorite soft drink and enjoy the show!
Click on the titles to watch a Youtube video!
1,The Ghost and Mr. Chicken, this 1966 classic is one of my favorites, Don Knotts at his best!
2.Creature from the Black Lagoon, this black and white 1954 movie, it was one of the first Universal films filmed in 3-D.
3. Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein, described in 1948  as an American comedy horror film. Bud Abbott and Lou Costello make a great team and this one does not disappoint.
If you enjoy this one consider watching these other movies by Abbott and Costello:
4. Scared Stiff with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, this is a 1953 musical comedy.
5. The Mummy this 1932 version is one of the originals and stars legendary Boris Karloff.

6. The Fly this 1958 science fiction horror film stars Vincent Price, who is always a little creepy.
7. Them is a 1954 black and white science fiction film about a nest of gigantic ants invading earth.

8. The Blob this 1958 film was Steve McQueen's debut leading role and has giant amoeba-like alien thatcomes me from outer space and terrorizes a small community.
Here is a list of some blog parties I will be joining:

  3. I'll have to keep these in mind for my grandsons, who are now just 1 and 4. I've only seen the Creature from the Black Lagoon, but the others look so fun. Just may need to indulge with my hubby this Halloween.
